With over four decades immersed in advertising and communication, I've collaborated with a diverse array of leading multinational brands, including Unilever, HSBC, Toyota, Yamaha, Mattel, and Novo Nordisk, among others. This journey has spanned across various industries, from banking and FMCG to retail and automotive.

Now, as | reflect on my experiences, | recognize the privilege I've had in benefiting from society. It's incumbent upon me, as a responsible citizen of India, to give back and contribute meaningfully. Hence, I've made the conscious decision to shift gears and align myself with Deepak's noble endeavor to uplift our community through social initiatives. Together, we're committed to fostering positive change and making a tangible difference in the lives of those around us.

RAMPRASAD V

INDIA CARES FOUNDATION

Ram Prasad, co-founder of Friends of Lakes and a leading advocate for transparent and scientific lake management, started his environmental journey early in life. In 1989, as a 12-year-old, he, along with friends and senior citizens of Vidyaranyapura, engaged in various environmental and conservation activities. Their efforts included spending time by the lakes, protecting them, and planting trees.

These early experiences with conservation deeply influenced Ram Prasad. In 2011, his dedication led him to co-found Friends of Lakes, a citizen's collective focused on lake restoration and management in the city. Ram Prasad reflects on his early involvement, emphasizing how learning about conservation at a young age shaped his commitment to environmental preservation and contributed to the success of Friends of Lakes as one of the largest lake groups in the city.
